Our mission is to become the principle intermediary provider for families, who assume guardianship of children whose parent(s) have loss their lives tragically.

Description

Children of Violent Crimes Emergency Relief is a non-profit organization serving the Metropolitan Richmond Area which is inclusive of the counties of Hanover, Henrico and Chesterfield. This organization derived out of the need to provide assistance of individuals who have taken on the responsibility of caring for children whose parent(s) have died as a result of a violent crime. COVER will offer assistance ranging from perishable items to counseling referrals within 48 hours after notification that a tragedy has occured.
