Compton Advocates Coalition empowers the residents of Compton by providing connection to resources, promoting unity, encouraging action-oriented solutions, and cultivating the desire for knowledge. Community is at the heart of our organization and believe that it takes all of us working together to change the narrative. We are all Compton Advocates.

Description

Compton Advocates was formed in 2019 when our Founder Candace Leos decided that she needed to become educated on local government. After doing research, attending council meetings and having dialogue with other residents a network was formed of like minded people who wanted to find ways to move the city forward. Fast forward 2 1/2 years, Compton Advocates has build it's reputation on engagement, information and community building.
