Game Day All-Stars: Volunteer Operations Crew for Oakland Soccer Club Oakland Soccer Club is seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our Game Day Operations Crew and help create a fantastic experience for our men's and women's teams and fans! As a member of this vital team, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and successful game days, from pre-game preparations to post-game wrap-up. What You'll Do (Responsibilities may vary based on game day needs and your interests): Ticketing & Gate Management: Operate the ticket booth at the entrance gate, collect payments, and provide friendly customer service to fans. Manage other gates to ensure only authorized personnel access the field and locker room areas. Scoreboard Operations: Operate the scoreboard during games, keeping track of the score, time, and other relevant game information. Locker Room Support: Assist with setting up and cleaning the player locker rooms before and after games, ensuring a clean and organized space for our athletes. Pre-Game Walkouts: Help organize and coordinate pre-game walkouts with youth soccer players, creating a memorable experience for young fans. Ball Kid Management: Supervise and coordinate the ball kids during games, ensuring they are in the right positions and fulfilling their responsibilities effectively. Field Setup & Take Down: Assist with setting up the field before games (e.g., setting up goals, flags, etc.) and taking down equipment after games. General Game Day Support: Provide general assistance as needed to ensure the smooth operation of game day activities. This might include helping with crowd control, answering fan questions, or assisting with other tasks as assigned.
