Urban Scholar Academy is non-profit organization whose mission is to prepare urban youth to become transformative leaders in the community through academic enrichment, athletics, and community service opportunities.
Description
Urban Scholar Academy was founded on the belief that "it takes a village to raise a child." Currently, we are looking for individuals who want to unite with us in helping to build villages in the classrooms and in the community. Whether you're interested in working with our children at our Homework Club or helping to prepare tutorial packets, Urban Scholar Academy is the perfect place to start making a difference today!

The kids, staff, and everyone in general was so lovely and kind. It was a great environment to volunteer at and they were always very understanding.
