Our work helps kids make better decisions. To know when to step in and now when things are goin in the wrong direction. To know when to pivot away from potential tragedy. We give kids the knowledge to navigate the pitfalls of youth.

Description

We are a community-based nonprofit organization which was founded by nurses in 1985. Today, Project Community includes nurses and experienced leaders from multiple disciplines who are committed to addressing the gaps in knowledge that impact the safety and wellbeing of youth. We offer four interconnected educational presentations: Self Awareness, Anxiety, Binge Drinking, and Sexual Assault. We also offer art programs for children and teens with special needs that utilize art therapy for creative expression and enhancement of social relationships supported by teen mentors.
