To improve the social, emotional and behavioral development of children and youth in Western Nevada through quality therapeutic and educational equine programs.

Description

LEAD with Horses provides equine assisted counseling and education. We serve foster youth, children of veterans, kids with social, emotional and learning challenges, and youth who want to improve their communication, social or leadership skills. We help kids develop life skills and resilience through hands-on activities with horses. LEAD with Horses provides equine assisted programs to support and encourage youth whose needs are not being met in traditional settings. Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach we assist children in finding their own solutions, inspiration, and empowerment.
