Description

The Wilson Branch of the Windsor Public Library seeks to make a difference in our community by helping youth in Windsor! We assist children in grades 1-8 both in person at the branch and virtually through Zoom on a one-on-one basis. Tutors can make a tremendous difference in the life of a student by providing a little extra support in needed academic subjects for a few weeks or a whole school year. The program starts in October and runs weekly at a scheduled time during our tutoring hours: Mondays 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm following the Windsor Public School calendar. The tutor meets with their student one hour per week. This opportunity pairs you with children in grades 1-8 in the area of your choosing (math, reading, writing, and general homework).
