Mission Statement

The Returning Veterans Project connects post-9/11 veterans, service members, and their families to free, confidential mental and physical health services in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Recent events in Afghanistan serve as a poignant reminder that for untold numbers of these veterans and family members, the lifelong battle for physical and mental health is just beginning. Improving the health and wellness of our veterans and their families is one struggle we can all face together

Since RVP was founded in 2005, we have helped over 3,400 post-9/11 veterans, service members, and families get free, confidential mental and physical health services. Access to our network of volunteer providers has saved lives in our military-connected community!

If you are a licensed healthcare provider practicing Oregon or Southwest Washington, please consider giving back by volunteering through RVP.

Please help us support these deserving veterans and family members who first served us. We need licensed mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, alcohol and substance abuse counselors, and somatic health care providers such as chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, and physical therapists.
