82nd Street Academics complements public education in New York City so that students, regardless of home language, have access to quality, public higher education.
Description
82nd Street Academics was started by parents in 1974. Four critical programs (Early Childhood, After School, Tutoring, and Summer Academics Gold) now serve about 1,000 students each year from age 2 through 10 grade. Students who attend 5 of our programs as they develop over their time in school have a 90% correlation with college attendance in the freshman year.
