Description

Greater Lansing Area Clean Cities (GLACC) is a coalition of stakeholders working to address the national challenge of petroleum dependence through local activities that grow the market for alternative fuels and advanced vehicles. Our projects achieve cleaner air and energy security in mid-Michigan through alternative fuel and vehicle usage, and fuel economy practices. Our members and stakeholders include fleets, corporations, nonprofit organizations, utilities, local governments, and individuals - anyone interested in ways cleaner fuels, vehicles, and practices can improve our air quality and energy security.

We are a resource for local and national information on clean and alternative fuels and vehicles. We help to promote and expand the usage of clean transportation options in mid-Michigan.

  • Have questions on how to incorporate alternative fuels into your fleet?
  • Wondering which alternative technology vehicles are available now to meet your fleet’s needs?
  • Want to learn how to save money on fuel costs?

Clean Cities an initiative of the U.S. Department of Energy with the goal of improving air quality and energy security through petroleum displacement. Local coalitions, including GLACC, are public-private partnerships organized to educate and assist fleets and individuals in adopting the use of clean fuels and vehicles.
