The mission of the Children's Advocacy Center of Van Zandt County is to reduce trauma to child victims of physical and sexual abuse through a unified, holistic effort that facilitates the healing of children and their families.

Description

The Children's Advocacy Center of Van Zandt County provides a variety of services that not only assist law enforcement and DFPS/CPS investigators gather evidence through forensic interviews but also provides any child victim of abuse or neglect and their non-offending family members with resources for therapeutic healing.
The Children's Advocacy Center of Van Zandt County accepts and encourages the involvement of community volunteers at all levels of the agency so we can serve more children in the community. Volunteers play a critical role in helping us reach our goals. As a volunteer, you will have a huge and lasting impact on the lives of children in need and the families we serve.
