Mission Statement

The UTMB Volunteer Services department is dedicated to improving the quality of service provided to our patients by placing volunteers in areas that support the commitment of providing the best care possible. This is accomplished through the placement of volunteers in areas that will enhance the delivery of service to patients.

Description

Programs provided by the Volunteer Services department are staffed by individuals from the community, employees and students of UTMB and groups of volunteers who are members of various organizations that volunteer their time and talents to provide special services for patients, their families and UTMB Hospitals staff.
