The Art of Love’s (TAOL) mission is to improve Arizona foster children’s lives by providing creative outlets to help them cope with trauma, achieve emotional well-being, encourage artistic expression and create joy. We envision a world where all children are supported and celebrated. We seek to guide children on a path of self-discovery, self-love, and internal healing by exposing them to creative expression and art enrichment activities.
The Art of Love is a registered non-for-profit national public charity with 501c3 tax exempt status. We use art to restore self-love and self-esteem in Arizona’s foster children, some of whom have experienced abuse, neglect, homelessness and are currently living in out-of-home care as wards of the State. TAOL’s goal is to create safe environments where children can feel, understand and express their emotions, begin to recover from the traumas they’ve experienced, and feel love and support from both adults and peers.
