Description

Charlotte Angels was started as a chapter in 2019 under our parent organization, National Angels. National Angels was started after success of the original Angels organization, Austin Angels.

The foundation of Charlotte Angels is community, empowerment, and hope. The mission of the Charlotte Angels is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. Intentional giving includes thoughtful and personal resources, gifts, and care packages that meet the real needs of the child and the entire family. Relationship building is devoting time and energy to fostering healthy relations that promote healing through connections and interpersonal bonding. Mentorship is equipping is empowering the youth in our programs to be prepared for independent living and reaching their fullest potential.

All board members and employees of any Angels organizations are expected to act with honesty and integrity, fair in all interactions as representatives of the organization, and commit to a positive change within the child welfare system. The culture of the team should be such that everyone believes in collaboration, transparency, and responsible stewardship of resources.
