We are dedicated to preserving, documenting and interpreting the origins and growth of tattooing in New York City.

Description

Our collection of antique tattoo art, machines and ephemera from the early roots of modern tattooing in NYC and America is available to the public. We serve as a global resource to anyone who shares our passion for tattoo history. We were the biggest lender to the New York Historical Society’s Tattooed New York show.
