Mission Statement

It's a She Thing, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides resources to women and girls who have encountered traumatic experiences, including but not limited to domestic violence, sexual assault, bullying, homelessness.

Description

The organization was founded by mother and daughter in 2019. We have impacted the community by providing new and unused coats to children throughout the Metropolitan area, provided groceries to families in need, provided resources and support during the pandemic and partnered with community organizations to serve those in need. We are in the process of opening a transitional home for women and children facing homelessness and we are seeking volunteers such as case managers, social workers, nurses and life coaches.
