Description

Big Brothers Big Sisters supports young people and the development of their potential to succeed. The organization matches an adult volunteer with one youth to create positive experiences and lasting friendship that has a direct impact on the life of the youth. Being a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things you will ever do.

Community Based:

• Meet 2-4 times a month
• Share your interests - cooking & grilling, baking, building things, games, outdoor recreation, arts & crafts, etc.
• Explore the community - local events, nature centers, trail systems, cultural activities, parks, volunteering, play and watch sports
• Generate positive experiences and forge a friendship

Site Based:

• Once a week during school lunch (school year only)
• Forge a friendship through conversation, playing games, working on small projects, sharing pictures and telling stories

Sports Buddies:

• Meet 2-4 times a month
• Attend sports games and events (BBBS often has free tickets available)
• Participate in outdoor recreation
• Play sports
• Attend your Little's games
• Forge a friendship using your love of sports and an active lifestyle
