Mission Statement

BraveBeginnings Inc. strives to be the leading Play Therapy outreach program serving toddlers diagnosed with Autism, Speech delays, Downs syndrome, cerebral palsy and all other developmental delays here in Monmouth County, NJ. Each member of our team is dedicated to maximizing the potential of each child in our program. BraveBeginnings recognizes that the success of these children lies within the strength of the family. As a result of enthusiastic participation in the therapeutic process, the parents' isolation and fear decrease; confidence and hope increase. BraveBeginnings is a recognized 501(c) 3 organization.

Description

BraveBeginnings is designed specifically to serve toddlers diagnosed with Autism, behavioral concerns, speech delays and a myriad of developmental delays. Over the past 15 years we have served 350 families. We are a leading early intervention play based social skills program. During each class every child works son all areas of development; gaining confidence ensuring that she/he maximize her/his potential.
A typical class is rich in language and includes the following:
* group play in our two sensory rooms including crash mats, climbing wall, jumping island. carts, wagons and swings
*Half hour circle time activities including bubbles, rhythm sticks, puppets
*Gross motor work and playground fun
* a small sncak
*sensory play with finger paints, slime, sand, mud etc
*Volunteer based. typical ratio 2:1
