Mission Statement

The purpose of the Arlington Heights Historical Society shall be the collection, interpretation, preservation and presentation of information and objects concerning the history of Arlington Heights and its surrounding area.

Description

The Arlington Heights Historical Society is a partner of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum. The Society began in 1957 and is responsible for the care and collection of the artifacts at the Museum. The AHHS is a membership organization with programs, tours, events and fundraising in collaboration with the Park District and the Village of Arlington Heights. AHHS is the market manager for the Arlington Heights Farmers Market, one of its major fundraising events.
