Veteran Volunteer Neeeded For Vet To Vet support

We are looking for a compassionate Veteran to volunteer and visit some of our Hospice patient's who are veterans themselves. Often, people don't realize the positive effect we have just by saying a kind word or being in a room with someone who is often alone. As a veteran you will be able to bond with our veteran patient's through your unique shared experiences.

Bring Comfort To Someone's Life! Hospice Volunteers Needed

We have several opportunities to help our patients direct or indirectly. You can come in to the office and help with general office work or you can meet directly with patients and provide companionship. As volunteers for hospice you really brighten someone's day, especially with people who may not have a support system. We service city of Chicago and Suburbs. At Three Oaks we believe all of us can make a difference for others by performing small acts of kindness. Often people don't realize the positive effect that a gentle touch or a kind word can have. Three Oaks volunteers can make a huge difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families.

As a volunteer you can go and listen to our patient's, read to them, play music for them or just sit quietly while holding their hand. We also have a need for administrative support, bereavement support and other specialty services such as Pet Therapists (must be certified)
