Mission Statement

Our mission is to make science accessible to everyone through hands-on learning, discovery, and innovation.

The Boston Open Science Laboratory (BOSLab) is a community-built molecular biology lab in Cambridge, MA.
BOSLab, is a non-profit dedicated to making science accessible to everyone. We offer hands-on science courses for teens and adults as well as a molecular biology lab for community driven research and innovation. Our BOSLab Artist-in-Residence program connects artists and designers with scientists and the community.
We are historically one of the first community labs on the planet, previously known as Bosslab. In an area where you can find more biotech companies than anywhere else in the world, providing accessible science - for the community - is essential.
