Mission Statement

The mission of the Foothills Foundation is to build a stronger South Jefferson County community by supporting local cultural, educational and recreational programs and activities while creating opportunities for community partnerships and volunteerism.

Description

The Foothills Foundation has a 30+ year history of serving South Jefferson County’s community through enriching outdoor events, supporting educational and recreational programs in the area. It keeps Foothills’ Centers Parks active and thriving for all, producing several fundraising events, including the Annual Golf Tournament, and the Summerset Festival. We believe that creating a strong community positively transforms and enhances individuals, generating lasting change.

Summerset is a great festival! Lots of Fun for the community! Its great to see an organization looking to bring the community together through food, music and fun! Excited for this year!

This foundation create incredible events that support local business and enhance community. The Summerset festival is now part of our family traditions. I'm happy to know there're people helping local parks and creating culture. Last year, we heard incredible feedback for volunteers. While volunteering, they enjoyed the festival, the music and the food.
