Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. is dedicated to improving teacher health, wellness, family relations, job satisfaction, student performance, and teacher retention to increase the overall well-being of the teaching profession.
Description
Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. is a non-profit, 501c3, grassroot Teacher Health & Wellness Support Community started in July of 2020. We provide resources and tips for teachers in order to be their best mentally, emotionally, and physically. When teachers are at their best their families, students, and society all benefit. Students are returning to school with more social, emotional, and academic challenges than ever before. However the lack of teacher support and resources in these areas have caused tremendous strain and pressure on teachers. This has resulted in an increase of the best teachers leaving the profession, burning out, and, experiencing mental and physical health issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, sleep problems, headaches, weight gain, heart disease, and others. When teachers are at their best their families, students, and our society all benefit.
Purpose: To create a community for teachers where they feel supported and valued.
Vision: Teacher well-being is a priority. Teachers are well supported and respected.
