This rescue specializes in feline rescues though occasionally take in miniature pigs and canines. Our goal is to provide strays and abused animals a safe haven to heal, become adoptable, and get a true chance at the life they deserve.
For Pet’s Sake Rescue is currently a home based rescue seeking commercial property. While we are at our current home base, we have a constant rotation of 75-90 cats. In an effort to keep as many animals alive as possible, we have started to focus on transporting. With transporting, we need volunteers to help maintain the rescue while we are driving the animals north to their future homes. Mississippi suffers from a gross overpopulation issue and shelters are euthanizing at alarming rates. The more we get transferred, the more we can start to pull from shelters and lower those rates.
