GMOVP request your assistance with assembling Fresh Start to Hope Hygiene Bags for the homeless. We will provide training and all supplies to complete this task. The Fresh Start to Hope Assembling happens 2nd & 4th Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 581 Spencer Lane San Antonio, Texas 78201. Any questions contact Angela Bills at volunteer@gmovp.org or by phone at (210) 391-6864. NOTE: You don't have to serve the entire time, and all ages are welcomed. If you have a heart to serve please join us as we assemble the hygiene bags which will be distibuted to the unsheltered every Saturday 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 724 Chestnut Street, San Antonio, Texas 78202. Do you have a heart to help the unhoused in San Antonio, want to be a part of change in the community, and can volunteer your time, then we need YOU! Choose 1, 2 3, 8 hours we will work with your schedule. We are seeking volunteer administrative assistance for our new program. All gifts, skills, and talents are welcomed as we need many hands and support to facilitate this program. Some of the duties may include handling the daily affairs, scheduling meetings and responding to letters and emails to drafting and distributing memos, help to organize presentations for fundraising events, field phone calls and maintain office order to ensure that each inquiry receives a response and that there are no scheduling conflicts. The volunteer administrative assistance may also coordinate and educate volunteers, aid in the recruitment of volunteers, prepares educational materials for the volunteers, gives tours and explains the mission to them. In addition, the assistant reaches out to volunteers with opportunities to serve in various capacities at upcoming events. Great news we work with your schedule! We believe with your support we can help the unsheltered to overcome the barriers that are preventing them from becoming independent and free from homelessness. God’s Messenger of Victorious People (GMOVP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides food, clothing, personal hygiene, support, training and resources to the unsheltered and low-income families within the San Antonio, Texas community. GMOVP journeys one-on-one with the unsheltered to ensure they are able to obtain access to local resources and complete their process to achieve independence and freedom from homelessness.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with God's Messenger of Victorious People (GMOVP). We hope you will join our team as we provide a "Fresh Start to Hope" hygiene bag to our unsheltered brothers and sisters living on the streets of San Antonio, Texas. We are looking for leaders willing to be trained as a weekly partner to distribute hygiene bags one Saturday a month from 6:00-7:30pm. You can choose which Saturday you'd like to be the lead distributer of the hygiene bags. We will provide training, mentorship and all materials for the hygiene bags. Your Saturday commitment would consist of collecting the bags from our main location, transporting them to the distribution site, distributing them to our unsheltered brothers and sister at a prescribe location, then coordinate a time to return items to main location. If you are unable to be a lead, you can also volunteer to be part of a weekly team of distributors. If you are interested in becoming one of our lead distributing partners, please email volunteer@gmovp.org to begin your journey to ministering to our unsheltered brothers and sisters living on the streets of San Antonio, TX.
