Role Summary Maintain the books and core financial records of Suicide&Co. This requires manual entries to be made from core documents such as bank statements, invoices and other records. Reporting into the Finance Director, liaison with both that role and the Treasurer will be required. Ensure compliance with financial policies and processes ensuring efficiency and excellent governance in all areas. Expected time commitment 1 day a month core bookkeeping, although it is likely to involve more work initially and time commitment required may be variable at quarter or year-end or other key times. Responsibilities include: Financial * Maintain the financial records for Suicide&Co using online spreadsheets and/or bookkeeping software. * Maintain supporting documentation for all transactions * Check financial reports and records for accuracy/compliance with financial and other policies * Reconcile all accounts periodically * Preparing monthly and quarterly reports and annual financial statements * Initiate payments to creditors * Ensure appropriate authorisation protocols have been met before payment * Collect gift aid, pay creditors, and analyse financial statements * Assist with preparation for audit * Produce accounting reports and income and expenditure statements * Process income receipts and invoices * Assist in the development of the annual budget of the company (where required) and monitoring the budget / forecast * Assist with cash flow projections * Stay up-to-date with changes in the country-wide financial laws Governance ● Make use of professional advice when appropriate to do so and retain any written advice for future reference and guidance ● Report to the Finance Director and attend and contribute constructively to Director meetings when appropriate Values & Qualities ● Appreciate the objectives of the organisation, why it exists and how it operates ● Constructively contribute to the organisation and work to promote the charity ● Encourage and take part in open discussions with other trustees and / or directors and crucially, participate in all discussions in a non-judgmental manner ● Prepare adequately for all meetings and sufficiently manage and organise tasks ● Be committed to creating a positive working environment and prioritising the team’s mental health, due to the nature of the work we will be carrying out

In collaboration with the executive board and CEO, the Volunteer Grant Writer is responsible for the coordination of activities related to grants. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: -In collaboration with the CEO, research, write, edit, and submit grants to various funding agencies. -Monitor and analyze grant activities by identifying and solving potential or existing grant issues. -Oversee and continuously monitor performance measures, grant deliverables, and reports to ensure grant targets and responsibilities are met. -Work with CEO to ensure preparation of written and statistical reports are completed in a timely manner and submitted to funding agencies once approved by the executive board. -As a grants manager you are responsible for submitting applications, renewals, and oversight of current programs within the organization. -Perform other duties as assigned. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: -Ensure that all work is done in a timely and accurate manner. -Ensure that all tasks related to the grant process are in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ KEY COMPETENCIES: -High level of skill at building relationships and providing excellent customer service to all funding agencies. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Proficiency in the use of a computer and commonly used software packages, including Microsoft Office Suite. -Ability to handle multiple/diverse tasks requiring knowledge and experience. -Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: -Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. -Knowledge and Experience: --Demonstrated experience writing or assisting with grant proposals for non-profits as well as government organizations. --Knowledge of federal, state, and local grant laws, rules, regulations, processes, and procedures. -Physical/ Environmental: Constant sitting, standing, and walking, Constant use of a computer, A medium to a high level of manual dexterity required.

Enduring Keys exists to unlock the power and potential of youth in Newport News, VA. We partner with young people to identify and bring to life their unique version of success. We pair each young person with caring, capable adults who serve as Success Coaches who build relationships that bridge divides and empowers them to become the best version of themselves. WHAT IS A SUCCESS COACH? A Success Coach (mentor) is a professional who guides and empowers youth to realize that they are key to their future. Success Coaches are engaged and passionate about their community and are dedicated to providing guidance and support to their young person during a critical phase of development. WHAT IS A SUCCESS TEAM? A Success Team is made up of two or three Success Coaches (mentors). Once paired, Success Teams/Coaches meet regularly with their student in person 1x a month and virtually through our online platform. WHO'S SUCCESS TEAM WILL YOU JOIN? We serve youth in Downtown Newport News, specifically through our partnership with Booker T. Washington Middle School. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? Success Coaches are seasoned professionals who are expected to commit to a minimum of one (1) year, attend weekly afterschool sessions as schedule permits (Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:330-4:45), meet virtually with youth on our online platform via video call, text, or email weekly, and in person one (1) Saturday a month (as schedudled). Success Coaches will participate in an orientation session and interview prior to matching with youth. Coaches are invited to participate in other activities and sessions as schedule allows. Enduring Keys, Inc seeks a Volunteer Program Manager to work collaboratively with the CEO to oversee youth and community programs and events, specifically EKI's mentoring program. The Program Manager will provide programmatic and operational oversight for all youth and community engagement programs. This role will work closely with the CEO. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide programmatic and operational management to all EKI programs Serve as primary lead on the management and implementation of youth and community engagement programs and events. Manage mentor program application design, posting, review, and selection process Serve as the principal point of contact for applicants, legal guardians, and participants in the mentoring program; serve as an ambassador representing EKI in public settings such as community and outreach events Manage relationships with and accountabilities from outside vendors and partners Serve as program liaison and thought partner for other youth engagement programs and opportunities Develop and track program metrics and analytics Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned Center principles of equity, inclusion, and belonging in all work, embedding the values in program development, policy application, and organizational practices and processes Commitment to the mission of EKI EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS An undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience Experience with youth programming or teaching Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Excellent public speaking and presentation skills Experience building partnerships with various constituents and program participants, especially youth audiences An aptitude for talent engagement, including the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders, peers and others using a collaborative style Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technical skills in Adobe, design a plus Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team Ability to multitask and manage multiple project deliverables Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner Ability for occasional travel required (3-5 trips per year) Creativity; kindness; desire to be a member of a team that strives for high impact, thoughtfulness, and collegiality
