Description
Located in San Clemente, overlooking the historic San Clemente Pier, Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is located in the home of San Clemente's founder, Ole Hanson. The home, built in 1927 has a storied history and in 2001 became the home of the non-profit Cultural Center. We are looking for volunteers to be Greeters, welcoming guests from all over the world and sharing our history, work in the Gift Shop, maintain our beautiful two and a half acres of gardens, and work in our education programs where we host 1500+ local students for field trips every year, as well as at our 2-week Music and Dance Academies in the summer. Our volunteers have been honored with Spirit of Volunteerism awards from OneOC and received San Clemente Volunteer of the Year award. Casa Romantica has been honored to be named Cultural Center of the year by OCCF in 2018 and chosen as Outstanding Arts Organization by ArtsOC. Our volunteers enjoy spending time at our beautiful location, listening to the relaxing sound of waves as they serve our community and make new friends.
