We build community through music. We entertain, unite, educate and inspire Denver-area audiences.
The Denver Municipal Band has been playing free concerts in the Denver area since 1861 (before Colorado was a state). Today, we still play concerts in the Denver-metro area (from Westminster to Parker) parks free of charge. And our music is performed by professional musicians (such as from the Colorado Symphony) with a variety of music (from Sousa to Big Band to Paul Simon). We also help inspire and give confidence to young musicians with programs in Denver-area schools.
