Description

As a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International member, Sunrise, Inc. offers horseback riding and ground lessons in Richmond, Indiana to qualifying participants.

Sunrise is home to a number of horses and ponies who love to work with children and adults of all horsemanship ability levels. Our facilities consist of an outdoor and indoor riding arena so we are able to offer lessons regardless of the weather.

Sunrise offers lessons year round. Our activity calendar is based around three ten week sessions. Lessons and outings are also available out-of-session and during winter months. Sunrise has an indoor and an outdoor arena, so activities usually take place rain or shine. We currently maintain a herd of twelve working horses and ponies, and work hard to match participants with the right horse for them.

We offer FREE equine activities and lessons for armed forces Veterans. Horsemanship activities, equine management, groundwork, riding, and trail rides.
