Description

NAMI South Bay has been providing programs, support groups and presentations, and advocating since the early 1980s. NAMI South Bay services the traditionally identified South Bay of Los Angeles County. It has provided programs and groups at no cost to thousands of family members and persons with a mental illness. It has been active in advocating for legislation and policies to fight the stigma surrounding mental illness, lack of services and the fighting for mental health parity in health insurance.
