Mission Statement
The Mission of the People's Community Outreach is to make a positive difference in our community by bringing God's light and love through actions of material assistance and encouragement. PCO operates as a conduit between established community resources to meet the needs of individual.
Description
In August 2017 we held our first community outreach. This outreach is a free family-oriented day. "Picnic in the Park" offers food, games, music, haircut coupons, clothes, dunk tank, and community agencies to give our families in need a link to their unique services.
Here are some of the things we have shared with the community in the last 4 years.
2,818 meals including fruit and dessert.
585 backpacks filled with school supplies.
86 free haircuts.
876 family photos.
21,000 items: Clothing, Shoes, Purses, and Blankets.
Community Partner information booths.
Superhero visitors.
Games for both kids and adults.
Entertainment and musicians.
Prizes, including many gift cards.
Table hosts to welcome our guests.
All around fun and socialization
Our goal this is to provide 1,000 meals, 30 haircut coupons, and to give out over 10,000 clothing items.
