Hundreds of volunteers assist with various projects at the library, ranging from shelving, to program assistance. We also have a robust Friends of the Library program. Volunteer opportunities with the Friends are limitless! The Friends of the Library always welcome new volunteers, and especially welcome individuals who are tech savvy or wish to assist with fundraising/event planning or book sale coordination. The Friends of the Library support the East Greenbush Community Library through their volunteer efforts (approximately $40,000 annually!).
