Increasing diversity in healthcare professions by educating students (grades 1st-12th) and providing opportunities for college students.

Description

Leaders and Adolescents Uniting to Navigate Careers in Healthcare, (LAUNCH), established in 2017, is the only early-exposure pipeline program in our county, serving more than 700 students to date. We believe that it is important to develop a partnership with adolescents to provide early exposure to different healthcare career choices. We hope that these adolescents will "launch" into healthcare careers and increase diversity among healthcare professionals in the near future. The following pipeline initiatives are free to the community: our Camp, Academy, Afterschool Program, Internship, and College Mentorship (Jr Volunteer Program).
