Description

The Mines Museum houses the official Colorado mineral collection. Many displays showcase the mineralogy, geology, and history of Colorado's mining districts. The Museum is home to one of Colorado's two Goodwill moon rocks, as well as the Miss Colorado Crown, worn at the Miss Colorado pageant every year. Additional featured exhibits include Colorado gold specimens, historical mining artifacts, meteorites, petrified wood, and fossils.
