Mission Statement

The mission of Foot Steps, Inc. is to provide transitional housing for youth that have aged-out of the foster care environment and are experiencing homelessness. Our goal is to shelter, educate, empower, develop and support our youth as they transition into their new journey of life.

Description

History - FootSteps Inc was orginally founded in 2002 but during that time and per our lack of knowledge, we were not able to get the funding and the people required to be operational. Over the years we tried to get things up and going but was not successful. In early 2018 our co-founderl was diagnosied with brain cancer. Before she received her wings, I promised her that I would continue what we started until it was complete.
Our goal is to operate a transitional housing program for foster youth that have aged-out of the fostor care program. We will also offer additional services as part ur Planting S.E.E.D.S Mentorship Program. This program is a "knowledge transferring" type of program designed to educate and help prepare each participant for their new journey into adulthood.
We are a start-up organization
