Mission Statement
Historic Savage Mill Foundation is an organization dedicated to the preservation of the historic significance of Historic Savage Mill. Historic significance is in terms of the Mill itself, its social aspects and its importance with respect to the industrial revolution and its surroundings self-contained manufacturing community. To also preserve and promote Historic Savage Mill as a unique historic, natural community resource by advocating projects which create a sense of place and destination which highlights the arts, history and natural setting.
Description
As a tribute to its significant past, Historic Savage Mill Foundation, an independent, non-profit tax-exempt organization under the leadership of Board of Directors, is drawn from the community at large. The Foundation uses contributions and grants to promote cultural and educational resources for local, state and regional visitors.
