Description

Young Men of Valor is a mentoring program of Henry Tellis Foundation founded for fatherless, young men between the ages of 10 to 18. The program focuses on developing character and leadership among the program participants. The Henry Tellis Foundation and the Young Men of Valor Mentoring Program strive to transform young men into leaders of today and tomorrow. Volunteer mentors are at least 21 years of age and are matched with a young person to provide one-to-one mentoring services and create safe, healthy and meaningful relationships with youth. Mentors will gain personal satisfaction from making a difference in a young person's life and have the opportunity to connect with youth and other mentors from different cultures and backgrounds.
