The mentoring program utilizes adult volunteers that commit to supporting, guiding, and becoming a solid support system to families for a period of at least one year. Mentors may help children with homework, parents with English practice, or young adults with job applications. The ultimate goal is for families to develop and reach positive academic, career, personal goals and for parents specifically to become strong advocates for their children.
