Youth potential is everywhere - in every child, in under-served neighborhoods, in every community, and even in the margins. Our program helps change kid's future by connecting a champion - a "Big" - with them to help them truly see their full potential. Through this one-to-one mentoring friendship, Coachella Valley kids can rise up to their full potential because they have someone there to be their defender. The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to build and support one-to-one relationships that ignite the biggest possible future for our youth. Our vision is that all youth achieve their full potential.

Description

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert, we are defenders of children's
potential to succeed by providing them with a mentor and a support system of skilled, professionally trained staff who work as a team to provide the guidance and support of for our kids to reach their potential to succeed. It's a simple as spending 4 to 8 hours a month developing a friendship with your Little Brother or Little Sister.
