Mission Statement

Balanced Living Mentorship Program is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization striving to help community youths discover their identity, by balancing and building positive character while reaching their full potential in life. We will endeavor to motivate and empower students with available possibilities to create a more literate society. Balanced Living Mentorship Program aims to reduce the frequency and severity of delinquent behavior in youth participants through one-on-one community based youth mentoring, tutoring, and sports camps.To reach this goal, mentors and mentees will focus on developing a positive relationship. Mentors will provide youth with a consistent, caring adult for support and assistance. Because of the variance of need (anger management skills, problem solving, decision making, etc.) mentees and mentors will be matched accordingly.
