Mission Statement

Just Us Girls is a mentoring program for girls in Middle and High School. We serve girls from the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
Our program serves only 25 girls at any given time. Girls are able to stay in our program until they finish high school
We have group activities every other Saturday which includes education, social activities, community service. We offer tutoring on Saturdays for girls who are in the program.
Recently we started an outreach initiative in one of the local Middle Schools where we go every 2 weeks to serve girls who have been designated as particularly high risk.
Our girls are also paired with a mentor who makes at least a one year commitment to the program.

Description

Mentors must live within the Atlanta Metro Area. For one to one mentoring volunteers must be 21 years of age or older. General volunteers must be 16 years or older.
One to one mentors must have a safe vehicle with a driver's license and good driving record. They must also be willing to submit to a background check

The most important attribute of a mentor is to be committed and to have a heart for working with teen girls.
