Description
DOLI was created by Outward Bound Adventures to provide the outdoor industry with a steady supply of diverse instructors from different cultural backgrounds who look like and relate to the face of an ever-increasing multicultural American demographic.
Since its founding in 1962, OBA has engaged more than 80,000 inner-city urban youth and families to the restorative effects of time spent in wild places and open spaces. OBA's innovative programs increase environmental knowledge, challenging our youth both physically and mentally. Our programs promote the development of a stewardship ethic, a greater awareness of nature, self-mastery, and career opportunities in conservation.
