Mission Statement

TrueMentors exists to build self confidence and provide new experiences that support positive growth.

Matches meet about four times each month and spend a minimum of eight hours each month together. Matches determine scheduling that works best for them to spend time together.
TrueMentors After School is in partnership with Project FOCUS at Hesperia Community Schools. Mentees are in grades K-4th and mentors are Hesperia Middle and High School students. Matches meet every Monday afternoon from 4-5 pm throughout the school year.
TrueMentors Parks in Focus is an outdoor based group mentoring program. The purpose is to connect youth to nature through photography. We take an annual week long camping trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, as well as shorter local trips to State Parks and public lands throughout the year.
