Mission Statement

KuPanda is group-based mentoring program for refugee youth hosted by Refugee Empowerment Program. Our mentors meet weekly with youth to engage in meaningful conversations, develop life skills, watch and discuss movies, play games, go to basketball games and field trips, and sometimes just hang out. The goal is for mentors and mentees to develop strong, sustainable relationships that help youth stay resilient in adapting to life in America and achieving their goals.

Description

We are looking for mentors with a heart for service and welcoming newcomers. We serve a population that is both resilient and vulnerable, and our mentors should be open to connecting with young people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
