Mission Statement

Our program receives nominations from teachers, guidance counselors, principals and even parents. Our students are typically facing some type of challenge that is impacting their success. These challenges could be an illness or death in the family, divorce, a parent incarcerated, difficulty in making friends, moving to a new school, struggling academically or trying to focus on future career plans.
We service students in one-on-one mentoring relationships in the Benton-Carroll-Salem Local, Port Clinton City, Danbury Local, Put-in-Bay, and Woodmore Local Schools in Ottawa County. Students also have the chance to participate in after school sessions at Oak Harbor High School and Oak Harbor Middle School. These sessions included study tables at the high school to baking, bowling, first aid and edible arts groups led by community volunteers.
