Mission Statement
Ment2B's goal is to provide emotional, motivational, and academic support for at risk youth through a community of trained adult Mentors who are committed to their success.
Mentors assist youth in a positive environment to establish and fulfill goals they have set for their education or vocation.
A Mentee and Mentor Match meet 2-4 times a month-participating in activities such as playing sports, going to the park, or other activities the Mentee may enjoy.
Opportunities to attend group activities, Wenatchee Wild Games, River Rafting, bowling, etc. will be planned throughout the year.
Description
Mentor Roles:
* Assist youth to establish and fulfill goals they have set for their education or vocation.
* Empower youth by helping them recognize their unique qualities and talents.
* Connect with youth and convey the message, "You are worth my time and effort."
* Encourage youth by sharing their personal goals, values and experiences.
