Mission Statement

Windsor County Partners is now in its fifth decade of building healthy communities through youth mentoring. We create and support mentoring partnerships by matching caring, screened adults with Windsor County youth.

Our school-based program, Let's Do Lunch (LDL) serves ages 5-18 in the Springfield Vermont School District. Adult volunteers complete an application (available to download from our website), a full background check, and comprehensive training. Each volunteer is then matched with one of our wonderful kids to share one hour per week of cross-generational fun on school grounds - chatting, playing board games, doing crafts, or playing outdoors. There's no better way to spend your lunch hour than in the refreshing company of a child who helps you see with new eyes!
