Mission Statement

Strengthened by 75 years of mentoring experience, Mentor North matches positive adults with young people between the ages of 7-17 in Twin Ports area. Our mentors are asked to be a role model, guide, resource, and most importantly, a friend to their mentees. Our matches are based on shared interests between the youth and adult. Please visit our website at mentornorth.org to find our full mentor application, our resources, and to learn more about what we do! Mentor North continually strives to advance equity and diversity within ourselves and our community. We engage in anti-oppressive practices that work towards eliminating prejudice, racism, and discrimination of marginalized groups. We stand in support for the rights of LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Our goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive mentorship community.

Description

We generally look and accept any mentor who we feel would be a positive role model to youth in our community.
