Mission Statement

The Best Friends Mentoring Program (BFMP) is a program of Western Wellness Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed in 1995. BFMP has provided mentoring to more than 2,000 youth since then and delivers services with the help of 600+ community volunteers. Through its mentoring programs, which have expanded into rural areas and include youth in foster care, the foundation truly executes its mission of, "making a positive difference in children and families, one at a time."

Description

Mentors must be ages 16+ for the school-based program and 18+ for community based. Mentors must also attend a training session and complete an interview with Best Friends Mentoring staff.
