Mission Statement

Northern Virginia Roller Derby (NOVA) has been formed for the purposes of promoting person’s athletics, training for and competing in the sport of Roller Derby, recreational, national and international competitions. We follow the rules and regulations developed and maintained by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) or mutually agreed upon rules for the purpose of tournament play. NOVA was established on July 30, 2013 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose motto is "Skate hard. Give back."
